3 Ways Traveling Makes You a Better Blogger (A New Spotlight)

The blogging entrepreneurship is one of the hardest journeys one can embark on.

Why?

Because most budding bloggers eventually fail.

In order to make my blogging ventures fail-proof (or, nearly so), one of my favorite hacks is “Traveling”.

There are several benefits to traveling, that can give your blogging career a few quick, positive and long-lasting boosts.

Here I have discussed about three of them to show how traveling can make you a better blogger.

1. You Will Be Smarter (With Technology):

Many bloggers simply haven’t fully embraced technology yet.

They still rely on communication methods and procedures that keep them locked inside an office all day.

If you are one of them, then traveling is for you.

Because when you start traveling, you will be forced to leverage technology to run your business.

I love to traveling.

I am a die-heart business fan too.

It is the new modern edge technology, which helps me to be connected with my business even when I travel.

For example, I can check my mails and keep in touch with my team through my smartphone on the go.

In addition to that, if you own a business with a large team, in that case, Team Collaboration Tools like Slack and various applications such as video conferencing software and cloud file management and storage can help you stay connected to your entire company, while you are traveling at any corner of the world that has a seamless internet connectivity.

When you fully leverage technology, you see just how much freedom you can have.

Many smart bloggers (like you) have introduced a remote working culture throughout their teams once they experienced first-hand how the entire business operation can be handled from outside of the cubicles.

2. It Helps To Boost Your Creativity:

Sitting at your desk and staring at the same scenery everyday will not positively impact your creativity.

It may lead you towards a burnout.

As a result, you will experience a negative impact on your performance and business, as well.

Successful bloggers are exceptionally good at handling unexpected obstacles and solving difficult problems.

Actually, most of the successful bloggers have a few common traits and that include traveling for most of them.

Traveling keeps your mind sharp.

And it also helps to keep your creativity at its best.

Personally, some of my best ideas have come while traveling.

And I have mentioned in one of my previous posts, that traveling helps me to come up with some great blog post ideas.

3. Traveling Helps You To Grow Your Network:

To become a better (and successful) blogger, you need to be good at Networking.

And traveling just helps to do that.

Meeting new people allows you to study how they interact, know about their daily lives.

It also lets you see first-hand how businesses in different areas operate.

So, whether you are embarking on a tour of Delhi, or spending a few days in Hyderabad like I just did, meet as much people as you can.

As a blogger, a strong network of like-minded people is crucial.

Having a diverse network will play a major role in your success down to the road.

Take time to introduce yourself to people and be friendly.

You never know who you will meet in your travels.

I’ve made a few contacts over the years just by starting a conversation while waiting for trains, having dinner at hotels and out exploring different areas.

Pro-Tip:

If you really want to fully network while traveling, keep an eye on local Facebook Groups and search for Local Blogging Groups. Local meet-ups are held frequently all over the world.

Conclusion:

Try to break away from the typical office setting as much as possible.

Even if you can’t travel the world — working remotely from a Co-Working Space can help spark creativity and being in the same environment as other entrepreneurs from different industries and backgrounds can benefit you greatly.

And finally, if you like this post, please do share it with others so that they can also be benefited from traveling while they are still at work.

Let me know what do you think about it by leaving a quick comment below.

See you in the next post.
